Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
